The 13th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA)
will be held in the Croatian town of Zadar. One session will be dedicated to
underwater archaeology.

The 14th annual conference of the study group for underwater archaeology of the Kommission für Unterwasserarchäologie (KUWA) will be held in collaboration with the Landesamt für Archäologie und Denkmalpflege Sachsen-Anhalt in Arendsee (Altmark) .

The first International Symposium on Occupational Scientific Diving organised by the German Commission for Scientific Diving (KFT) and the German Research Diver Association (FTV) will be held Oct. 15 - 16, 2007, at the Alfred-Wegener-Institute for Polar and Marine Sciences in Bremerhaven, Germany.

The third International Congress on Underwater Archaeology (IKUWA) will be
held in London in 2008. This congress is being organized by the NAS (Nautical
Archaeology Society) in conjunction with IFA (Institute of Field
Archaeologists), UCL (University College London), English Heritage and the
DEGUWA.

The twelfth International Symposium on Boat and Ship Archaeology (ISBSA)
will be held in Istanbul in 2009. This year's theme is dedicated to the
interrelationship of boat- and shipbuilding and seafaring between the Occident
and the Orient.
